CamScanner is a Chinese-based mobile app that allows iOS and Android devices to be used as image scanners. Due to recent developments, CamScanner has been banned in India. Hence, the existing files which have been scanned in the application cannot be shared since the ban of servers.
However, there are still ways to transfer documents from CamScanner to other image scanning apps.
Follow the steps mentioned below to transfer documents from CamScanner to an alternate applications :
- Open the CamScanner application on your device and choose the document/documents that you would want to transfer.
- Then click on the 3 dots located at the bottom right corner of the page as shown in image 1.
3. When you have clicked on the 3 dots present on the bottom right corner, you will see multiple options in the drop down to share these documents.
Additionally, you can convert these files into PDF and also password protect the PDF files.
Further, you can easily share the documents via email or upload to any external storage as shown below in Image 2.

6. Once you have uploaded the documents you need to transfer these to the alternative app of your choice.
