To switch phone numbers without losing your Viber account, follow the instructions below:

Open your Viber app and Go to the more screen.

Go to Settings, and tap on Account under it.

Choose Change phone number.

If required, you are prompted to backup your chat history

In the next page, input your new phone number and tap continue

Verify your new number.

Getting a new number verified is akin to verifying a new Viber account . An SMS with a code will be sent to your new phone number, or a hang-up call (for Android users alone). Type in the code you received when prompted. Once verified your number will be changed, and your Viber will be just the way it was before you switched numbers.
