Events End, But Your Connections Shouldn’t

In February, the Doers Summit hosted founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and operators where they gathered to share ideas and form valuable connections. The event provided a space for meaningful conversations, with a focus on collaboration and opportunity. Conversations turned into introductions, and introductions laid the groundwork for future partnerships.

At the Doers Summit, exchanging contact details was made seamless through Covve’s NFC and QR technology integrated into the badges. A quick tap or scan automatically connected attendees via email, sharing their contact information for effortless follow-up.

The Covve solution was entirely web-based – no apps, no fuss – ensuring a smooth and efficient experience throughout the event.

The Right Connections at the Right Time

With a 50% activation rate, more than 3,000 connections were made at the summit through our digital badges, highlighting intent behind attendee interactions. People had the opportunity to foster meaningful relationships with clear intention.

Each scan was a step toward collaboration, investment, or mentorship. These weren’t ephemeral encounters but opportunities to continue conversations beyond the summit. Covve gave attendees the structure to manage those connections, making sure that contact details remained accessible when it was time to follow up.

A Global and Diverse Gathering

The Doers Summit drew professionals from 542 companies across 37 countries. Investors, founders, and operators arrived with different backgrounds, expertise, and goals, creating a space where cross-border relationships could thrive.

A diverse mix of industries and perspectives allowed for a dynamic exchange of ideas. Founders found potential investors, operators met the people bringing new ideas to life, and investors identified promising startups. The reach of these connections extended well beyond the event, setting the stage for long-term collaborations.

Founders, Investors, and the Conversations That Matter

The summit created opportunities for direct and relevant connections. Founders were able to engage with the people who could help them grow, whether through funding, advice, or partnerships.

  • 135 founders connected with 70 investors, strengthening access to capital and mentorship.
  • 241 founders built relationships with other founders, sharing knowledge and potential collaborations.
  • 146 founders connected with 72 operators, creating pathways to execution and scaling.

Making Every Meeting Count

Meeting people is just the beginning. Without a way to keep track of contacts, conversations can fade into memory without action. Covve ensured that every introduction at the summit had a place.

Instead of a pile of business cards or scattered messages, attendees left with a structured and searchable record of the people they met. Founders had a system to track investor conversations. Operators knew exactly who to reconnect with. Investors had a clear overview of the startups they engaged with. Covve simplified the process, making it easy to turn first meetings into lasting professional relationships.

A Smarter Way to Build a Network

The Doers Summit was about people coming together with an intention to make new connections. The impact of those connections didn’t end when the event did. Attendees left with new relationships forged and opportunities.

Covve helped to establish that those opportunities weren’t lost. The relationships built at the summit have room to grow, and our goal here at Covve is to empower every connection to have the chance to develop into something meaningful.
