Android Contacts Missing – How to Fix

Did the contacts on your Android device disappear for no apparent reason? Perhaps you don’t have a backup for them and are beginning to panic. It’s understandable. Your contacts list is definitely one of the most important things on your device. It’s how you get in touch with loved ones, friends and business clients. Put your mind to rest. From this article, you will learn how to recover lost contacts on your Android device. The first thing to do is to check your Contacts app and see if all the contacts are displayed there. Still in the contacts app, locate the three vertical dots on the top-right of the screen and click on it. It will take you to the Contact Settings menu.  
  Select the settings option and tap on Contacts. Tap on Contacts to Display. Click All Contacts.  
  Now, you’ll be able to see contacts that are on your phone.  You can view specifically, the contacts that belong to various accounts. Accounts like WhatsApp, Skype, Gmail, SIM etc.   To view the contacts that belong to any of this accounts, select the appropriate option.   To view the contacts that disappeared mysteriously, click on All Contacts. Any and all of contacts saved in any app on your phone, will appear on the Contacts list.
