How do I set up my badge?  

Disable private browser/incognito mode and tap or scan your badge QR using your phone camera. Do not use a QR reader/scanner app to scan your QR.  

Set up your profile with your desired details and tap save. Tap other badges with your phone to connect with people you meet via email.  

I set up my profile last year, do I need to set it up again?  

Yes, you’ll need to set up the profile again. The process is immensely simpler to complete and much easier to use for connection. No apps are required at all. Just fill in your details, save and start connecting.  

You can even edit your badge as often as you like by tapping your badge to your phone and tapping edit. Everyone you meet will land straight in your inbox, so you won’t miss a single connection! 

How can I see everyone I met?  

You’ll receive direct email introductions for every connection you make. If you’d like to manage the individual email intros, you can set up a rule in your inbox to send them to a specific folder.  

You'll receive a list with everyone you met, including their contact details, after the event has ended, so don’t worry about tracking each email.

I’m not receiving any connection emails. What can I do?  

Please make sure you are connected to WiFi and the connection is stable. We recommend switching to mobile data for a steadier connection. If the problem persists, please contact the CultureCon team and provide your profile URL.  

Our support team will investigate it and get back to you. Don’t worry; if you reach out to support, you will still receive the complete list of your connections through your badge post-event.

Why can’t I save my profile photo on my badge profile?

Try taking a screenshot of the image and uploading it again or try a different image. Make sure your internet connection is stable while uploading!  

Where can I get my LinkedIn URL? 

To get your LinkedIn profile URL: 

• Go to your LinkedIn profile

• Tap the 3 dots in the header section

• Select 'Share via'

• Select 'Copy link'

• Paste it into the LinkedIn field on your profile 

   

Can I edit my badge?

Yes! Simply tap your phone to your own badge or scan your own QR with your own phone and you'll see an 'Edit' button. 

Tap it, make your changes, save and your edits are good to go.  Anyone you connect with moving forward, will receive your updated details.

I forgot my badge at home today! Do I need another QR code/badge?

No! Your phone is still paired to the badge you had yesterday. Scan/tap others with your phone and everything will flow as if you had the badge with you, including email introductions and the complete email list at after the event has ended! 

What if I want to take notes on my Covve pCRM that I installed years ago?  

In the intro emails you’ll find a Vcard attached for your connection. Save their contact details to your phone. Then you can access them like every other contact you access via Covve pCRM- Create a relationship and manage as usual.
